1. Introduction to internet: 15%
Network: it’s and topologies, and about internet, internet connections: Dial Up connection Direct conection and broadband connection, internet Address URL, ISP, Internet,Extranet, VPN
WWW, Search Engines, News-group, E-mail and its Protocols, Web Portals,Chat, Audio and Video conferencing, FTP, Remote Login, Introduction to e-Commerce, e-learning, e-governance, e-banking
Getting connected onto intenet and visit popular web site. (to be covered in Laboratory)
2. STATIC WEB PAGE DEVELOPMENT 10%
Introduction to HTML, HTML Document structure tags, HTML comments,Text formatting, interting special characters, anchor tag, adding images and Sound, lists types of lists, tables, frames and floating frames, Developing Forms.
Ineroduction of front page.
3. DYNAMIC WEB PAGE DEVELOPMENT 10%
Ineroduction to CSS, Types of styles sheets, implementation of font , color Text and border atteibutes in CSS.
4. Javascrip: 20%
Introduction of javascript, using oprators, control statements, user defined Function, working with built-in objects: windows objects document object, String object, array object and data object, Handling events in javascript.
